Thinking of all your family at this sad time. Miss Tonge, there are no words to explain just how cruel life can be. Thank you for your time, dedication, commitment, passion to succeed and friendship. And most of all thank you for the memories. At the time, without us knowing it, you were equipping us with skills for life. I think during your time at Holy Cross, you took a lot of stick for us girls! Sometimes being late for lessons and having to miss lessons for training, tournaments (and trips to Wimbledon to watch the tennis, but we won't mention that.) It turns out it didn't do us any harm and it was all worth it when we lifted that trophy in Bournemouth. A memory which will last a life time! In your words, your job here is done. Now fly high and rest in peace. X
